Production Lead

Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 5:00 AM-3:15 PM

Hourly Rate: $25.11 an hour

You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City Michigan facility, home of the Vlasic brand. You will report to the team lead. You will ensure the line is running proficiently and intercede to reduce downtime. You will work with line staff to ensure transfer of knowledge occurs and team is focused on the daily goals. You will collaborate with peers and management to facilitate daily success.

What will you do:

• Report downtime and record results

• Communicate with the oncoming shift

• Coach operators and ensure compliance with production standards

• Troubleshoot problems providing resolutions

• Perform sanitary tasks

• Run equipment

• Conduct training

• Attend meetings

• Provide tools and supplies to support production goals

• Coordinate line staffing needs with Line Leads/Team Leads

• Perform startup tasks (checklists and quality assurance)

• Safety inspections

• Coordinate break periods

• Follow procedures to reduce downtime

• Communicate misses/gaps with Team Lead and Business Unit Lead

• Create training tools

• Promote employee engagement

Required Qualifications/Education:

• Minimum high school diploma

• Two years operations experience

Necessary Skills:

• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools

• Two years operations experience
