Production Gating Wax Assembler

BBSI is currently accepting applications for Production Gating Wax Assemblers for our aerospace manufacturing client in SE Portland.

Production Gating Wax Assemblers are responsible for assembling complex components, including gating systems, in a varied and non-repetitive fashion to produce mold forms to be invested. These individuals are a key part of the manufacturing process, and each day perform duties such as:

• Inspecting patterns and determining assembly methods.

• Accurately assembling complex gating systems.

We are seeking individuals who are looking to take their assembly or manufacturing careers to the next level. Skills and experienc sucha as the following are needed for sucessin this role:

• Experience with pattern gating assembly techniques, methods, materials, fixturing, and construction.

• Effective communication and team work skills.

• Ability to read and follow complex written instructions.

• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds.

• Ability to work in conditions which may include exposure to noise, fumes, crowding, awkward physical positions, abrasions, cuts, and chemicals.
