Customer service administrator provide assistance and support to the customer service team. This role is responsible for answering and routing phone inquiries, entering orders in SAP as well as managing the department mail and correspondence and supporting the Customer Service team as they work to delight our customers. This job is well suited to people who have a passion for providing great customer service, work well as part of a team, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer phones and route calls appropriately from customers, vendors, suppliers and others.
Support the Customer Service Representatives by entering customer orders into Amsted Rails ERP system, SAP.
Support the sales team members to ensure customer needs and/or issues are being addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence for the Customer Service Team.
Plan and organize Customer Service events. Coordinate with event staff to ensure proper arrangements are in place and events run smoothly.
Performs all other administrative duties as assigned using initiative and judgment.
High School diploma plus two years prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with an enterprise resource system such as SAP, BPCS, ROSS, etc
Prior experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to interact positively with a variety of contacts within and outside of the company.
Ability to think quickly and creatively during customer interactions to provide a good brand image and great customer service.
Must be detail oriented and able to manage priorities in an ever-changing environment.
