3M is seeking a Production Execution (PE) and Labeling Lead for the Personal Safety Division located in Aberdeen, SD. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.
The person hired for the position of Production Execution (PE) and Labeling Lead will be responsible for assisting with 3M Aberdeen's Business Transformation (BT) deployment by understanding and driving changes in the production areas using MIL interface and ensure all labels used in the plant are compliant for the Project Polaris. This person will work with the local plant manufacturing teams and other BT module teams to develop and deploy a common set of standard processes and functionality.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Understand how 3M MES and MIL work in the plant and identify processes to close the gaps
Lead cross-functional teams to ensue business requirements are clearly defined and achieved
Escalate and facilitate the resolution of critical issues/risks impacting deployment
Act as the local SME and point of contact with corporate and business groups
Monitor and report on critical metrics to assure all gate deliverables are met
Execute pull-forward of the Spectrum Loftware replacement for ELC labels
Document training, develop job aids, and train others regarding production and labeling functionality to assure "transfer of knowledge" to local team
Assure all required testing is completed and documented
Coordinate with BT Labeling Coach and business representatives to standardize to global label templates where applicable
Understand the site's labeling footprint, customer requirements, business requirements, and regulations where appropriate
This position may require working outside of the core business hours
Possess or are in the final year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Experience with iMES production reporting process
Possess a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Detail oriented with effective communication and follow-through skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization
Strong business acumen
Strong experience with manufacturing principles and practices
Skills include Microsoft system usage, troubleshooting abilities, and project management
Ability to influence across the organization
Strong action/results orientation with the ability to work with minimal oversight, to be self-motivated and proactive in achieving individual and team objectives
Location: Aberdeen, SD
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
Relocation: Is not authorized
