Production Electronic Technician

Dunlop Manufacturing Inc., a fast-growing manufacturer for the Music Industry located in Benicia, is looking for a Production Electronic Technician to join their team.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, Problem-solving, and Repair using basic analog electronics experience PCA’s that need repair.
• Being a team member in our Daily Production Line Quality Checks.
• Test pedals electronically and play the guitar to sound-test the products.
• Assist with Production Line questions regarding quality or testing.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of Electronic Experience that covers the knowledge of basic Analog circuitry is required.  Knowledge of Digital Circuitry is a plus but not required.
• Soldering skills (hot air and iron) are needed but can be taught onsite.
• Should be musically inclined with a guitar or keyboard for product knowledge. More experience with Basic Analog Electronics could be an adequate substitute.
• Prior Dunlop Product knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel is helpful.
• The ability to Read Schematics and understand Engineer drawings is very helpful.
• Basic computer skills combined with good written and verbal communication skills are needed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• At least one year of customer service experience in Technical Support.

• Excellent vocabulary and communication skills.
• Great organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Great attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access is a plus.
• The ability to understand and use an Oscilloscope is helpful.
• The ability to play guitar is a plus but not required.

Benefits

Competitive Salary commensurate with ability. The pay range is initially set to be between $20.00 - $22.50 per hour.
