SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs all GM plant requirements and duties for shipping and receiving, collects data for plant production, runs reports as needed, and responds to customers' orders and issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
Places parts on hold that are requested by GM.
Prepares the work order for filling daily requirements and daily request.
Shipping to each location once parts are packages.
Matching FedEx receipts against daily shipments for track.
Overseeing that all orders and back orders are being fulfilled.
Running Forecast for releases against Inventory using SPOC, and SAP.
Creating purchase orders to send to BOS.
Release customer orders from SAP.
Packaging of parts and wrapping as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand prime work orders and packaging specs in English.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of SAP, SPOC, BOS.
Ability to demonstrate full understanding of production flow process.
Good leadership skills with an ability to take charge of a given situation.
Ability to proficiently operate Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform shipping functions via Fed-Ex and UPS.
Excellent customer service skills to meet our customers' needs.
