You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (PROPULSION/STEAM), PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (HYDRAULICS), or PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SEAWATER DIESEL) in the MECHANICAL/RIF PLANNING DIVISION, ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT of Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF).

You will develop Controlled Work Packages (CWP) and Formal Work Packages (FWP).
You will develop man-hour estimates required for work accomplishments.
You will plan for the accomplishment of preventive and corrective maintenance work and alterations on complex systems, sub-systems, and components.
You will provide material technical resolution and troubleshooting services, and maintain awareness of the entire material support condition for assigned projects.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

This is a bargaining unit position.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
For the GS-10:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying production control principles, techniques, and methodology to observe and analyze production operations to determine if schedules are being followed for the alteration, manufacture, overhaul, or repair of submarine projects.
For the GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying production control principles, techniques, and methodology to assist with planning the alteration, manufacture, overhaul, or repair of submarine projects.
