Production Control Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the production team in managing, scheduling, problem solving and communicating with vendors. This position has a large range of responsibilities and duties. Applicant must be efficient in excel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Scheduling and rescheduling new and current releases.

2.Line to WIP transfers with hours verification.

3.Daily WIP updating and WIP adjusting for forecast.

4.Attending order review to address any issues before release.

5.Creating WOs for fabricated parts.

6.Order fabricated parts to be transferred from sister plants.

7.Backflushing materials, receiving parts, and adjusting WOs.

8.Substituting parts and raw materials when requested.

9.Creating job packets for production and communicating changes.

10. Communicating with engineers to resolve issues.

11. Problem Solving Inventory issues.

12. Communicating with outside vendors for SSTL, decals, and reefer installs.

13. Coordinating Materials to complete WOs for on time galvanized parts.

14. Sortation oversight to ensure part delivery to shops.

15. Entering new work orders into the Hackney line schedule.

16. Delivering cut schedule to production control.

17. Adjusting units due to OCRs when applicable.

18. Unit tracking from Chassis arrivals to dispatch.

19. Assist/Direct production to meet deadlines.

20. Communication with sales to inform/resolve any issues.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Efficient in Excel, verbal communication and willingness to be a team player.

• Analytical skills preferred

• Organizational Skills- Needs to be highly organized and self-sufficient.
