Production Control Expeditor

Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a Production Control Expeditor to join them. You will report to the MRO Sr. Operations Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Production Control Expeditor opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience required]

• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Detail-oriented nature.

• Prior experience in production control expediting or similar role.

• Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes.

As a Production Control Expeditor, you will:

• Coordinate and facilitate the movement of materials to and from various production areas.

• Ensure proper identification, handling, staging, and organization of all materials throughout the production cycle.

• Collaborate with production planners, cell leaders, and support staff to align with production plans.

• Maintain consistent, timely, and accurate communication.

• Ensure timely issuance of materials to support production requirements.

• Read and interpret production reports, taking necessary actions daily.

• Respond promptly to unplanned issues as they arise.

Salary Range:

• $20-$23/hr, based on experience
