The Role

Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts;and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

On the basis of these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow. Develops and provides time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes.Develops capacity analysis for tool and equipment utilization. Support shop with shop floor performance metrics.

Ensures that all training performance improvements are designed to maximize the strategic impact to the organization and provide measurable learning and business results that are sponsored at the highest level. Ensures all curricula remains current to reflect and support functional strategies. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Serves as content owner for assigned programs. * Maintains an expertise in the content to enable decision-making for new program development or existing program enhancements. * Maintains all new and existing courseware and learning programs in area of responsibility. * Maintains close communication with Direct and Dealer leadership to assess need. * Conducts a learning needs assessment for new programs or existing program updates. * Prepares a learning needs report (learning assessment findings). * Maintain LMS and prepares KPI reports. * Participates in learning development kick-off meetings. * Develops skills certification programs in partnership with Direct and Dealer leadership to maintain strong sales technology knowledge. * Conducts pilot and ensure sign-offs by appropriate constituencies. * Works with direct & dealer management to conduct spotter training for general line reps. * Loads and distributes final approved course materials to appropriate personnel. * Ensures final sign-offs prior to program launch. * Responsible for field communications related to program paunch and ongoing updates. * Manages, monitors and evaluates effectiveness of learning programs in the field. * Responsible for creating, implementing and managing the control plan for new and existing programs. * Analyzes evaluation results relative to new and existing programs. * Conducts feedback for new and existing programs and report results to leadership and customers. * Works with the project team to develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies. * Supports HR Business Partners in implementing human performance improvement theory * Continually seeks opportunity to acquire and maintain extensive knowledge regarding all business lines and company goals and objectives. * Works with leadership to identify and maintain the standards by which all learning projects are to be measured. * Manages relationships with third-party vendors. * Engages and maintains relationships with vendors to procure products, instructional materials, Subject Matter Experts, and other resources for the purpose of improving training programs. * Responsible for leading communications, planning and execution associated with assigned programs. * Collaborates with leadership in managing departmental goals, planning strategies, and maintaining directions for team members. * Collaborates with developers in planning and implementing eLearning initiatives and other education program development projects. * Oversees the development of curricula incorporating principles of adult learning and appropriate instructional methodologies. Also, ensures curriculum is continually updated to reflect new products, strategies, and the needs of field personnel. * Reports to management on project status and performance. * Organizes team meetings to review progress and issues. * Coordinates with team to bring issues to resolution. * Assesses potential impact of individual risks. * Communicates and works with other project team members to keep tasks on schedule. * Communicates and works with any third-party vendors and consultants on the team to keep tasks on schedule. * Organizes regular status meetings to communicate effectively to all team members. * Participates in corporate councils and committees as required. * Participates in Corporate/Regional level meetings on a regular basis. * Interfaces directly with senior and functional leadership. * Performs other duties as assigned.
