What are we Hiring For? We are hiring an Production Cell Leader to join our Chatsworth, CA operation.

What will you be doing?

As a Production Cell Leader, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for providing quality products and services. You will be responsible for developing a team capable of achieving a level of throughput and quality that meets and exceeds expectations. You will help to develop, refine, and execute shop floor processes and product related functions as well as supervise all functions of one or more MRO production cells.

Provide clarity, direction and motivation, ensure compliance with all policies. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties. Work effectively with employees, co-workers, management, customers and others. Keep commitments; keep others informed of work progress, timetables and issues. Address problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical solutions.

• Plan, organize, direct and execute all production activities within assigned cell(s)

• Assigns and prioritizes workflow

• Ensures quality standards are achieved and maintained

• Performance management - Hiring, disciplinary action, terminations, performance reviews

• Ensure adequate resources are available to execute and achieve production plan

• Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on time, tools and equipment are calibrated

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, maintain 6S standards at all times

• Hold daily performance feedback dialogue with team members

• Identify, develop and conduct training as needed

• Ensure compliance with internal, external and regulatory requirements

• Meet or exceed KPI metrics

• Liaison with functional support teams as necessary

• Assist production efforts in a hands-on role as needed

Required knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an aerospace MRO environment with focus on mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electronic LRUs.

• Read and understand drawings, diagrams, specifications, schematics, CMMs and TDS.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Be appropriately certificated as mechanic or repairman under part 65 of Title 14,
• Minimum of 18 months of practical experience in the work being performed or be trained to perform the maintenance, preventative maintenance or alterations

Compensation Pay Range

$80k-$100K
