Production Associates

Volt is immediately hiring for Production Associates in Chatsworth, CA.

As a Production Associate you will:

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow prescribed safety and quality regulations.

• Must be familiar with basic machine functions.

• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regards to daily duties.

• Follow written and approved work instructions.

This is a full time opportunity.

30-day contingent assignment.

1st shift (Hours 5:30am

• 2:00pm) and 2nd shift (Hours: 2:00pm

• 10:30pm) available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to train & operate powered industrial equipment and navigate in tight spaces and high traffic areas.

• Ability to use a computer, have basic math skills and good communication skills.

• Encompass strong attention to detail, and good mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to perform physical demands in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

• Ability to write simple correspondence.

• Must have the ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• High school diploma or general education degree required

• Must be able to regularly endure repetitive minimal to moderate lifting 10lbs up to 50lbs and occasional team lifting above 50lbs.

• Requires normal range of hearing and vision (including colors) to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports and results.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
