Production Associate, Lead

Our desktop dispensing equipment and components are trusted for applying controlled amounts of adhesives and other assembly fluids worldwide.Production Lead Duties and Responsibilities:*

Foster the Nordson safety culture of "Journey to Zero". * Represent Nordson Team by being a role-model, lead by example. * Assist the Supervisor in scheduling daily production. * Build up reports Excel, SAP, and EIQ systems handling. * Set up equipment, daily job, and preventative maintenance tasks. * Train, instruct, and coach employees to meet production demands. * Track and communicate daily goals. * Operate necessary equipment to meet required production schedules. * Work with other departments to resolve quality problems. * Practice good housekeeping. * Communicate with alternate shift leads and the supervisor during shift handoffs about the current state of the production area. * Engage with your team in a respectful manner, fostering an environment of mutual respect and open communication *Benefits: * Starting day 1, your benefits include: * Annual cash bonus based on personal & company performance * Medical / Dental / Vision * Health Savings Account (with employer contribution)* 401k (with match AND additional 3% annual company contribution)* Tuition reimbursement * Life Insurance * Wellbeing programs to help you live a healthy happy lifestyleShifts Available:* 3rd Shift:Mon-Fri, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am (Shift premium available)Production Lead Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED preferred but not required* 2 + years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred * Some mechanical capability & basic computer skills required * Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn * Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety is required, bilingual in Spanish a plusWorking Conditions & Physical Demands:Manufacturing environment.
