Production Associate

KULE is looking for an energetic Design/Production Associate to support our quickly growing business. Working closely with the Creative Director and Director of PD/Production. Tasks include:

• Design Boards: Working with the Creative Director in executing seasonal CAD designs on boards.
• CADs: creating all CADs for all productions and collections; keeping CADs up-to-date throughout development and production; assisting with the creation of seasonal graphics based off notes from Creative Director
• Tech Design: with the assistance of the Director of PD/Production, creating initial tech packs for each new style in the collection; ensure smooth transition once items move into production, obtaining approvals as necessary; attending fittings and work with Creative Director and Director of PD/Production to maintain design aesthetic and fit
• Sampling: work with factories to obtain samples and coordinate with Director of PD/Production through the additional sampling process; provide Sales and PR teams updated of sample timing and location
• Communication: Work with factories via email on a daily basis.

Requirements

• 4-5 years relevant experience in apparel and tech design
• High level of proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with a strong eye for color and design and basic knowledge of graphic design
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, ERP experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of technical design; knitting and patterning a plus
• Clear communication and problem solving skills
• Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Thrives in a fast-paced and self-directed environment 
• Full time in office
