Position Summary

The position is responsible for packaging and inspecting pharmaceutical products in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) while adhering to health and safety requirements. The Production Associate II role is critical to our patients. They oversee all inspection of our products with safety in mind, executing with efficiency always.

The hours for this position are: 6pm

  • 6am Wed.

  • Fri. Every other Saturday

The Role

  • Monitor and direct employee position rotations on the line.

  • Assist team lead in the coordination of on the job training.

  • Make certain material inventory is correct by verifying it against paperwork.

  • Perform routine maintenance, set-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment

  • Must be cross-trained on all lines within assigned quadrant.

  • Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System components relevant to this position.

The Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum one-year experience working in manufacturing, preferably pharmaceuticals

  • Experience in a packaging operation beneficial.

  • Experience in performing dimensional evaluations desired.

  • Functional product testing experience desired.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability

Start here Job Title Production Testing Associate (B Shift) Position Summary The Production Associate is responsible for obtaining representative samples of raw materials, bulk solution, work-in-process, and finished products, evaluating these samples for conformance to established quality standards and specifications, and documenting the results of these evaluations. This is a B Shift Position. Hours are Sunday - Tuesday and every other Saturday from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. The Role (daily responsibilities) * Standardization and use of simple analytical instrumentation (pH meter, osmometer, torque meter, balance) and measurement devices (ruler, micrometer, go/no go gauges) * Material/Product sampling per a pre-defined schedule * Evaluation of materials/products for conformance to visual and functional specifications * Complete, accurate, detailed and legible documentation of sampling completion and results obtained in accordance with cGMP * Communications with supervision, and other departments when problems are identified, or assistance is required * Coordination of activities with peers in a dynamic manufacturing environment * Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System components relevant to this position.
