Production Associate I- 1ST Shift

Job Summary:

AFTERPAINT TECHNICIAN:

• Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

• Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.

• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Delivery Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.

• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.

• Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

• Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

• Installing Fiberglass Insulation

• Working from ladders and scissor lifts, wearing fall protection

• Working with power tools - drill, impact driver, angle grinder, etc.

• Cutting and grinding

• Caulking and painting

• Installing door hardware

• Wearing Tyvek suit

• Working with perforated sheet metal

• Reading a tape measure

The ideal candidate will need to have general construction skills and know how to use hand tools. These positions could be extended and/or turn into a FTE.

This is a first shift role working 7am-3:30pm. When the manager is ready, he will be requesting 30 min onsite interviews.
