Production Assembler

Temp to perm but will most likely hire the right candidate direct from the start.

Pay Rate - $20 - $23/hr.

Hours - 7: 30am to 4: 00pm

General Purpose

Responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely and on time. Follows drawings, guidelines and or diagrams to ensure product specifications are met. Utilizes manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture and assemble in accordance to company policy and safety regulations.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reads, Interprets and Understands customer drawings and technical specifications

Trouble shoots and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment to the component level

Applies knowledge of all manufacturing equipment including VNA, Coax Strip 5400+5300, soldering equipment, hand tools, power tools and label making devices

Applies knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing including but not limited to: Cable Assembly, Spooling, Cutting & Soldering

Assembles electronic components and manual soldering of fine wires and parts under a microscope

Analyze errors in electronic design and production

Performs in-process and final testing on product

Performs routine equipment maintenance and limited troubleshooting activities as required

Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel

Work with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates

Communicate with engineering on product performance and functionality issues

Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents

Helps monitor productivity by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates

Assist the CSR team with customers needs for technical support

Assists with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor

Qualifications

Comprehension and understanding of the Metric System

Ability to follow direction

Attention to detail and accuracy is essential

Note taking skills

Must possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and be detail oriented; must have values which support our companies values and a healthy, high performance culture

The Principal Engineer will ensure execution of a safe, compliant, effective, efficient, and cost appropriate operations & maintenance programs.  Consultant will lead teams in the development of drug delivery devices. Scope includes a wide range of devices, such as needle protection systems, fluid transfer devices, pen injectors, automatic pen injectors, and micro-infuser delivery pump systems. The qualified candidate will lead technical teams to ensure successful device development of these mechanical and electro-mechanical medical devices. The Principle Engineer will work closely with team members to develop detailed engineering specifications, device design & development, support verification, validation, and regulatory submissions of these devices. The role of the Principle Engineer is to work within a cross-functional organization to utilize technologies and methodologies that support short-cycle robust device development.<br />  <br /> <strong><u>Top Must-Have Skill Sets:</u></strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have experience in engineering Facilities and utilities (Water system, HVAC, steam, etc.).</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have experience handling an auditor and understanding the GMP procedures and policies.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have the technical skills to assist the technicians at the site.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Project management experience would be a preferred skill set.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;"> </li> </ul> <strong><u>Day to Day Responsibilities</u></strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Work cross-functionally with individuals and project teams in Marketing, Operations, and Development.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Create and assess product requirements to determine technical coverage and proper integration different subsystems.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Create and execute to project plans and schedules.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Develop, execute, and review architecture documents, design documents, specifications, development plans, characterization plan, verification and validation plans and other related product development documents for assigned projects.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide deep technical assistance for junior engineers.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide leadership for 24/7 field support to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve utilities issues.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Led projects from development through the 510k and PMA approval process.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Strong background in engineering and commercialization of electro-mechanical medical devices.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Experience with material & test specs generation, protocol & report writing, process & test development, prototyping, design verification, DOE/SPC process optimization & validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), FMEA.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Product design/development (design control) from concept to post product launch for Europe (EMEA/CE Mark) & US (FDA/PMA/510k) submissions.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Experience in drug/device combination product design and development.</li> <li style="padding: 0;
