We are currently searching for an exceptional Production Assembler to join our team located in Nashville, TN.

The Production Assembler will work with our IEM (In-Ear Monitor) team. He or she will be responsible for the proper and efficient assembly of Fender's lines of in-ear monitors and be expected to keep up with specific KPIs, metrics, and safety guidelines of a modern manufacturing facility.

About the Job:

  • Demonstrate all aspects of assembly and test of completed IEM assemblies

  • Perform a variety of installations of small electrical components and soldering

  • Complete assembly of IEM by sealing and testing the unit to produce an acceptable sound signature when compared to a standard

  • Ability to diagnose problems and execute repairs of IEM

  • Sanding of small parts, supporting paint and/or coating operations, operating small injection molding machines, counting of parts, moving materials throughout buildings as required, and supporting final pack and boxing of finished products

What You Need:

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions with accuracy

  • Basic knowledge of the correct use of hand and battery-operated power tools

  • Electronics assembly background preferred w/strong knowledge of soldering equipment use and technique

  • Musical or audio signal processing background preferred but not required

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Drive preferred but not required

  • Ability to understand bills of material

  • Must be reliable and a self-starter

  • Positive attitude and comfortable working in a changing environment
