KWS Cereals USA is looking for a Production and Inventory Specialist to support with all aspects related to the production and distribution of high-quality seed. Reporting to the Production and Logistics Manager, this role will ensure that all seed quality, on time delivery, and financial targets are met by utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Additionally, this individual may assist with field inspections and vendor contracts.
Essential Job Functions:
Inventory Management
Ensure accurate reporting in ERP system
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure on time delivery to meet sales targets and budgets
Quality Management and Seed Certification
Facilitate quality testing program across multiple locations and labs
Ensure seed certification program enrollment and quality metrics are met where applicable
Logistics
Assist with import and export of parent seed and commercial seed as needed
Facilitate shipments of seed domestically utilizing TMS systems and brokered loads
Maintain KPI metrics on vendor performance and cost
Seed Production
Assist the Production and Logistics Manager with developing and implementing the annual crop plan
Inspect seed production fields at various growth stages
Manage ERP transactions across entire seed production lifecycle
Collaboration
Work collaboratively across team(s) ensuring time and resources are used efficiently
Build and utilize relationships within the global cereals business unit as well as colleagues from around the world in multiple business units

Required Qualifications
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deliverables with minimal supervision
Good communication skills, both written and spoken
Proficiency with SAP (ECC or S4); or similar ERP system
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams Powerpoint)
Ability to travel domestically as needed (10%)
Prior related experience in agriculture, supply chain, manufacturing, or related areas
Valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years relevant work experience
OR
Preferred qualifications:
Hybrid seed production experience
Ability to travel internationally as needed
Five or more years of relevant experience utilizing SAP in an agricultural or manufacturing environment.
