DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Performs production functions relating to product assembly, packaging, and equipment operation

  • Operates and maintains automated equipment

  • Utilizes specifications, oral and written instructions to assembleproducts and subassemblies

  • Monitors and assists with evaluating line flow and recommends necessaryprocess and/or personnel adjustments

  • Monitors quality of product produced and service performed within thedepartment

  • Monitors and reconciles work-in-progress inventory

  • Supports 5S and LEAN initiatives as it related to process improvement

  • May conduct peer training and participate in delivering demonstrationexercises

  • Follows and maintains company policies and operating procedures

  • Facilitates or assists special projects and process improvement

  • Records/maintains lot and product serial numbers

  • Assumes responsibility for inventory transferred to Work In Process(WIP) sub-inventory and finished goods inventory transfer to Inventory Control

  • Loads game cases, game cards or discs, and all related literature intoautomated packaging equipment

  • Conducts routine assembly checks / work in process inspection of quality

  • Reports on throughput and quality

  • Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is an essential function ofthis position

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Six months to one year packaging or warehouse experience preferred

  • Strong basic math skills

  • Basic PC skills (higher advancement levels may require increased PCskills)

  • Higher advancement levels may require organizational anddecision-making skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
