Appriss Insights is seeking a Product Training Specialist to join our growing marketing organization. In this role, you will provide marketing and training support for Appriss-enabled products. You will be a key contributor for the execution of campaigns across a broad range of industries.
A key function of this position is assisting with training and content development. This position is responsible for providing training administrative support, which entails researching product functionality, leveraging internal subject matter experts, drafting product presentations, and conducting customer-facing training sessions and webinars. This position's works is coordinated across multiple functional areas, primarily Product, Client Relations and Data Products.
Your efforts will be supported by the Insights marketing team which operates as a marketing agency for Appriss Insights. Foundational marketing and training experience, flexibility, communication, and organization skills are required to be successful in this role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
1-3 years of experience in a trainer/facilitator role
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, training and development, or equivalent work experience
Experienced in curriculum messaging writing/design and video content development
Ability to deliver virtual and in-person training
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Organization and project management skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple deadline-oriented projects simultaneously
Experienced in broad range of marketing tactics: web pages, email, social media, webinars, events
Independent worker with high level of initiative and follow-through
Ability to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to Appriss Insights' product marketing and training strategy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency with Hubspot, or similar marketing software
Familiarity with video development software
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Training Manager to develop training recommendations and educate customers based on their products and target audiences
Provides marketing support for product implementations, which includes marketing campaigns and asset development
Educates on product marketing & training support programs, which includes print materials, promotional items, communications, event and campaign planning and support
Develops video content for social media platforms
Writes content for training communications, such as emails, web pages, and social media posts, to generate interest from prospective training attendees
Collects and analyzes training session results to improve upon future training content and presentations
Reviews and updates existing training materials, such as webinar presentations, reference guides and videos for completeness, accuracy and brand alignment
Works jointly with our product teams to develop training materials that effectively demonstrate product features, functionality and user workflows
Ensures that public-facing training content on online sites is complete, up-to-date and easy to locate
Clearly communicates timelines and deliverable expectations for marketing and training tactics with Appriss Insights team members
Some travel may be required for customer training engagements or for professional development.
