Job Description

Enlighten is looking for an experienced Product Trainer to apply strong cyber security, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and networking domain knowledge to support cyber related content development and delivery for training products. Products to support are associated with analytics and applications related to modeling, threat analysis, and direct customer mission support. Regular activities consist of research and content gathering, content development, and training. Must have an engaging personality, an analytic mindset, responsiveness, and experience leading professional development or software training. Position requires ability to travel up to 50% of the time to work with users/customers both CONUS and OCONUS. Being flexible when and where needed is key to being successful in this role. When not traveling, role is hybrid with some on-site team interaction.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding our technology/capabilities and championing them accordingly.

  • Design content to optimize learning using visual, audio and interactive learning tools.

  • Conduct advanced user training courses and curriculum in cyber hunt, log analysis, intrusion investigation, tool / platform usage, and other relevant topics, through use of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on lab exercises.

  • Prior technical instructor experience capable of relaying complex concepts, processes and methodologies.

  • Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts for technical training development.

  • Use Instructional Systems Design to create, redesign and optimize training material for traditional and web-based learning.

  • Revise course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.

  • Create various content types (videos, articles, one-pagers) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides.

  • Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Current TS level security clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in instructional design/training fields with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing/developing, syllabi, lessons, objectives, exams and content material.

  • Experience conducting technical training in classrooms or small groups.

  • Experience in training curriculum development.

  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently with little input and as a part of a team.

  • Excellent work ethic and a high commitment to quality.

  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to speak in a public forum.

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening and empathy.

  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.

  • Travel may be required up to 50% of the time; sometimes on short notice CONUS/OCONUS.

  • Must be willing to work hybrid the rest of the time with some on-site meetings with the local Enlighten team.

Preferred Requirements

  • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.

  • Structured Query Language (SQL) experience is preferred.

  • Experience with optimizing learning content for various platforms including distance learning.

  • Experience with creating Web-based Trainings.

  • Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security.

  • Any previous BDP (Big Data Platform) experience is a huge plus.
