Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Strike Division has an opening for a Product Trainer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

The selected candidate will establish, develop, and implement training system requirements for training system courseware in support of the overall Training System.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop training requirements and courseware

  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical data and associated drawings.

  • Work closely with engineers, subject matter experts, graphic artists, and external customers for completion of training materials

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate in-house training programs for field support personnel & customer

  • Responsible for overseeing modifications and requirements development in order to keep the training system materials concurrent with the actual platform

  • Preparation of briefings for management and developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention/problem solving.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in both an office and lab environment and be able to work closely with flight test, system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers. Researching, developing, and course conducts of operator training to include vehicle systems description, vehicle operation, emergency & normal procedures checklist data, and all safety procedures are an integral part of this job.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years experience with training syllabus and courseware development, and/or aircraft operation

  • Demonstrated experience with Air Force Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process

  • Demonstrated experience in military operator training course design, development, and sustainment

  • Demonstrated experience in military training techniques and instruction methods

  • An Active, In-scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years

  • The ability to obtain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering

  • Former military pilot

  • Experienced military Operator Instructor

  • Experience in task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and training systems products such as IMDP & TPSD documents.

  • Strong organizational skills tailored toward deadline-oriented environment

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

  • An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance

MELENG SYSENG Basic Qualifications: * Typical experience for this role is: a Master's degree from an accredited university OR * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 9 years Cyber security experience OR Associates degree from an accredited university and 11 years of cyber Security experience OR HS Education and 13 years of experience in cyber security * 5 years of experience transitioning from DIACAP to RMF. * 5 years of experience with all phases of the RMF process. * 5 years of experience using or familiarity with tools such as Xacta and eMass as well as how these tools facilitate the RMF authorization process. * 9 years of experience validating security assessments and reviews * 9 years of experience with DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A)/Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities, security processes, and documentation/reporting using DIACAP, NIST, CNSSI, or National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) guidance as required. * 9 years of experience submitting ongoing authorization inputs and artifacts to support certifying authority's ongoing authorization decisions to operate and test decisions. * Possess an active appropriate certification as required by DoD Directive 8570.01-M for an Information Assurance System Architect Engineer (IASAE) Level II Position. * DoD final Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain it Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in a Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited university * Familiarity/knowledge of both Windows and UNIX or Linux based platforms. * Familiarity/knowledge of basic TCP/IP and Ethernet networking methodologies and implementation. * Familiarity/knowledge of network boundary protection methodologies and implementation. * Familiarity/knowledge of physical security methodologies and implementation. * Experience writing LEAN business processes, utilizing concepts from the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and Value Based Six Sigma (VBSS). * Familiarity with documenting the security posture of a system and reporting on security controls assigned to the system. * Knowledge of fundamental information technology principles, concepts and techniques to including software languages, design concepts, test methods, and integration practices. * Knowledge of work products resulting from guidance in the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53) and Committee for National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI 1253). * Knowledge of work products resulting from the application of the RMF to the DoD (DoDi 8500.01 Cybersecurity). * Knowledge of work products resulting from the application of NIST 800-171 (Controlled Unclassified Information).
