Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Strike Division has an opening for a Product Trainer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
The selected candidate will establish, develop, and implement training system requirements for training system courseware in support of the overall Training System.
Develop training requirements and courseware
Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical data and associated drawings.
Work closely with engineers, subject matter experts, graphic artists, and external customers for completion of training materials
Plan, develop, and coordinate in-house training programs for field support personnel & customer
Responsible for overseeing modifications and requirements development in order to keep the training system materials concurrent with the actual platform
Preparation of briefings for management and developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and tools for intervention/problem solving.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in both an office and lab environment and be able to work closely with flight test, system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers. Researching, developing, and course conducts of operator training to include vehicle systems description, vehicle operation, emergency & normal procedures checklist data, and all safety procedures are an integral part of this job.
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years experience with training syllabus and courseware development, and/or aircraft operation
Demonstrated experience with Air Force Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process
Demonstrated experience in military operator training course design, development, and sustainment
Demonstrated experience in military training techniques and instruction methods
An Active, In-scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years
The ability to obtain Special Program Access
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
Former military pilot
Experienced military Operator Instructor
Experience in task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and training systems products such as IMDP & TPSD documents.
Strong organizational skills tailored toward deadline-oriented environment
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance
