What Impact You Will Have:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Product Technology you will work on product localization and customization projects with responsibility over major elements of quality assurance. This role will troubleshoot problems and evaluate solutions as an escalation tier from the helpdesk, counseling with the development team, quality assurance engineers and project stakeholders. The qualified individual will analyze, design and write requirements and specifications for tests including anticipated problem scenarios. In conjunction with other quality assurance engineers on the team this role will document findings, analyses, and summary recommendations. This role may assist with developing, running, and evaluating test plans/cases and scripts to evaluate software functionality and performance.

Responsibilities

A Day in the Life:

  • You will be responsible for assuring a high level of quality in localization of training products, standard presentation products and platform builds

  • Being a subject matter expert in the VitalSmarts Instructional Platform you will act as a resource for training and support

  • You will be responsible for assisting customer support for both internal and external stakeholders

  • You will use and provide key information for knowledge base, FAQs and technical notes primarily for the VitalSmarts Instructional Platform

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Must be able to successfully interface with both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Must demonstrate attention to detail. Must be willing to work with technical support teams in providing key information for knowledge base, FAQs and technical notes for multiple software-related products, services and applications.

  • Skills required for this role include:

  • Ability to read, interpret, understand and write technical and non-technical documents including but not limited to wireframes, data workflows, and various levels of software requirements.

  • Administration of Windows, OS X and Linux workstations

  • Virtual machine management

  • Authoring and presentation experience with test cases, test plans, regression analysis and result data in MS Office

  • XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript

  • Preferred skills include:

  • Apache Maven / Gradle / Ant

  • Atlassian Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence

  • Parallels Desktop, VMWare ESX and VMWare Fusion

  • Localization testing

  • Business fluency in a non-English language
