Job Description:

Organizational Overview

While working at DST Financial Services, you will help our clients discover opportunities in the complexities associated with mounting inflows of data, rapid technological advancements, shifting regulatory change, rising security risks and increasing demands from their customers. Your job is to help our clients discover opportunity through technology, strategic advisory and business improvement solutions.

You will work with some of the world's leading Alternative Asset Managers, Asset Management Service Companies, Banking Companies, Broker-Dealers, Distribution Companies, Insurance Companies and Retirement Companies. Everyday our global offices in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States work together to master the complexity of the financial industry to transform the most challenging tasks into opportunity and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

Manages direct reports responsible for ensuring the company's products, services, and business offerings are compliant with regulatory requirements. Develops short- and long-term business plans consistent with the needs and priorities of the business and its customers.

Accountable for analyzing and identifying regulatory, financial, and operational risk for the organization. Works closely with legal counsel to develop and recommend compliance-related policies and procedures to be applied throughout the organization. Consults with internal product development groups, operational areas, and company clients.

Participates in the cycle for attaining new business for the organization. Represents the interests of the company in various industry-related focus groups, steering committees, and advisory groups. May also be required to speak at or compose documentation for industry conferences, client/product conferences, or educational seminars.

Applies and enforces guidelines to ensure compliance and equitable application of policies, procedures, practices, programs, processes, and systems and makes suggestions for continued improvement or increased efficiencies. Supervises a team in a support or operational environment. Participates in the interview/selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance, and is engaged in performance management.

Plans and prioritizes work to meet business unit commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities. Delivers operational results that align with department commitments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or

  • Master's degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or

  • 5 years equivalent work-related experience
