The Product Support Specialist is responsible for delivering strong customer service and maintaining professional relationships with clients and becoming proficient in performance management and compensation management software applications.

  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with clients: answer questions, requests, and resolve problems promptly and courteously. Maintain professional reputation and provide superior client service by communicating via phone, email and chat.

  • Effectively perform product support functions: assist clients with troubleshooting system problems. Complete research and resolve technical questions and/or errors with clients.

  • Perform testing of potential defects within the application(s) and demo accounts, and document and communicate those to the product development team.

  • Follow up on potential defects and communicate updates to the client as the product team resolves issues.

  • We will summarize the above three lines to this: Assist the respective product subject matter experts in preparing client facing reports and spreadsheets.

  • Compile all client interaction and activity in CRM system.

  • Maintains client confidentiality and adheres to the Terms of Service Agreement.

  • Identify methods to reduce client traffic through product improvements and client communication.


  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with one year of related experience is required.

  • Two to three years customer services experience required.

  • Strong computer skills with work experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.

  • Previous human resource/compensation experience preferred.

  • Credit union experience a plus.

  • Previous experience with performance management and compensation software a plus.

  • Previous experience working with Compensation salary surveys, how to match a position in a survey and obtain market data desired.

  • Knowledge of how to calculate a median, mean, and percentile and experience with excel desired.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • High sense of urgency and responsiveness with an emphasis on customer service.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Strong ability to adjust to change and work requirements.

  • Strong innovation skills.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and group communications skills, both over the phone and in person.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively with little or no supervision.

VIEW JOBS 11/1/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-30T00:00 Collateral Services Business Specialist, Lending and Trade Services The Collateral Services Business Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of all activities which support the safeguarding, monitoring and reporting of the bank's collateral pledged for the commercial loan portfolio. Effective execution of these responsibilities is critical to ensuring a sound lien position in assets pledged in support of loans, and proper mitigation of risks inherent in maintaining proper paper and electronic based security interests supporting all Comerica loan groups and lines of business. The Collateral Services Business Specialist will be responsible to perform the following functions: 1. Document and File Safekeeping by ensuring accurate files are created, maintained and safeguarded; 2. Collateral Updates by loading collateral details representing the specific collateral supporting each loan within the appropriate system; 3. Document Recording by executing the release of liens via recordable documents with various state and county jurisdictions; 4. Collateral Monitoring by updating collateral values for negotiable collateral items such as brokerage or trust accounts on a monthly basis, and ensuring the monthly UCC filings perfected in the bank's interest are continued within the five year window as required by the Uniform Commercial Code; 5. Collateral Releases by executing collateral release requests per month as requested by Comerica lenders and external agencies, such as title companies or other financial institutions; 6. Hazard Insurance Tracking by tracking required hazard, wind, earthquake and hurricane insurance policies, and reporting cancellations, expirations and delinquencies; 7. Tax Tracking by tracking real estate taxes on property held as collateral to report delinquencies to lender and borrower as necessary; 8. Risk Management and Quality Review by performing collateral review for items set up as security on loans within the portfolio as well as review on collateral monitoring activities to ensure compliance of regulatory and risk requirements. 9. Supplier Reporting by analyzing and reporting activity performed by Third Party vendor and escalating performance outside of standards 10. Project Team Participation by acting as a subject matter expert to provide education on current state process and documenting business requirements for future state Successful candidate will have the following competencies: 1.
