Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with software and hardware engineering on field and factory issues

  • Organize, schedule and project manage field upgrades

  • Support system install requirements

  • work with install coordinator regarding required tools, resources, etc..

  • Involvement in new products

  • Participate in new product team meetings

  • Work with design engineering to design in serviceability

  • Develop support documentation

  • Manage documentation resources including Teradyne Cebu resource

  • Manage training to Teradyne field service engineers

  • Work on Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) strategy

  • Monitor system and new product reliability

  • Generate reliability reports based on field issues

  • Assist with determining root cause for increase/decrease in system up time

  • Travel expectations are less than 20% of work requirements

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communications; personal computer proficiency.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and with cross-functional teams.

  • Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and "hands-on" .

  • Develop documentation for field procedures.

  • Technical Project Management experience a plus

Required Experience

  • Experience with Hard Disk or Semiconductor testing desired.

  • Degree preferred: Bachelors of Science MFG/ME, Electromechanical

  • 3-5 years experience
