The objective of the Product Support Associate is to provide world class customer contact and technical support to ensure users get the most out of their product experience. This role encompasses both reactive support for transactional issues (eg. billing, account maintenance, and order status inquiries), technical issues (e.g. software and hardware troubleshooting) and proactive support. Associates are also responsible for working closely with the client to create product issue tickets as well as process-improving recommendations.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Improve the strategy for customer care and overall experience for the millions of users of client's products by identifying and documenting recommendations to the client

  • Influence the development of client's products by reporting enhancement requests received from customers regarding hardware, features, etc.

  • Provide reactive technical support to customers through video, phone, chat and email channels

  • Coach and educate users about client's top consumer products and their key features

  • Independently identify, troubleshoot, document, categorize and resolve customer issues; escalate complex problems according to defined escalation procedures

  • Communicate bug fixes and new product enhancements to customers

Expected Outputs:

  • Own end-to-end resolution of customer issues and questions to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Develop relationships with customers over time through multiple engagements

  • Address customer questions in a timely manner while maintaining a level of quality in communication that meets or exceeds written expectations

  • Submit high-quality questions or suggestions to the team lead, the supervisor or the client in order to influence and drive program improvements

  • Review quality feedback with supervisor

  • Follow proper diagnosing and escalation procedures

It all begins with you. The Division Support team in Electronic and Commercial Services (E&CS) is looking for 4 Business Support Consultants to provide shared service support across all of E&CS. Efforts can be sensitive and complex, and may be initiated at the Enterprise or CSBB level. This role demonstrates a willingness to embrace change and take on new opportunities and is capable of building strong partnerships with a focus on collaboration. This role will work closely with our risk management team, key business partners and E&CS senior leaders to ensure the program is effective and functioning as designed. This Business Support Consultant (BSC) role is responsible for driving Business Process Management (BPM) sustainability activities focused on identifying, prioritizing and delivering opportunities around key business process dimensions to include: process optimization, automation, procedure alignment, KPI/KRI measurement, customer experience improvement, and Self Assurance Activities (SAA). Other responsibilities may include: * Leading the critical division-wide oversight of moderate to complex projects and risk initiatives, partnering with the E&CS businesses on providing credible challenge on corrective actions and assisting with validation activities as requested. * Pro-actively provides written or verbal statuses for line of business leaders and department peers on key updates and milestone impacts. * Provides backup coverage for other division support team members. * Consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for the applicable business functions. * Presents to mid-level managers on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements. * Utilizes thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business.
