Responsible for supporting the development of new Health Insurance Product or Program designs to meet market needs including cost benefit analysis, marketing plans and testing / piloting, as appropriate, the concepts. Supports the process from an idea through conceptual design.
Responsible for identifying, creating and supporting the conceptual design of new products or programs by delivering components / sections of the conceptual design.
Responsible for creation of / development of decision memos requiring sign off from all designated functional areas to document facts / positions /recommendations for the design as well as detailed process flow to clearly identify how things should work
Captures product or program design specifications and details about design functionality to ensure appropriate translation by Product Development team.
Provides analytical support to enable conceptual design development.
Interpret and utilize market research, including reporting and analytics to identify trends and opportunities as inputs to the product or program design process.
Support product development projects by providing input scope documents. Track, monitor, and drive the progress of innovative projects, action items, and strategies that are identified by the leadership team;
Supports the development process by acting as a SME on conceptual design as potential build options are considered for development / execution.
Develops and maintains strong business relationships, and is skilled in leading, facilitating productive team meetings.
Skilled in identifying stakeholders, and is effective in driving collaboration and clarity around key objectives
Develops / proposes organizational policies and procedures for innovative products developed; and
Perform, support and collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives that support retention, enrollment, network and forecasting
Lead/support communication/training plans in coordination with segment/corp strategy.
Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in product or program design/development or related experience
Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Broad thinker with the ability to relate business trends to enterprise strategies and opportunities
Ability to understand Health Insurance market place dynamics and relevancy and implications to business strategy
Understanding of Health Care industry, including Federal & State laws related to health products
