We are looking for skilled professional to join the company as Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs Manager. This role is responsible for managing the relevant product safety and regulatory reviews for assigned product lines. Maintaining related EHS data in SAP. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Work independently according to Company PSRA processes and guidelines ensuring high quality. Offer cross regional support in the global PSRA team.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • >5 years experience in the field of regulatory affairs
  • Experience in working in chemical industry
  • University degree in chemistry, environmental engineering, toxicology or an equivalent program
  • Knowledge of chemical regulations in the Americas region, especially U.S. GHS, TSCA, CEPA (NSNs), Californias Proposition 65, Food Contact (FDA), and other related regulations
  • Experience working with international colleagues, an analytical mindset, the capability to work under time pressure, good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to define and organize diverse projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to interact proactively and provide counsel and expertise to internal and external customers
  • Ability to train and motivate others, and to communicate and coordinate efforts of peers and service recipients
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus.

This position is to establish a resource to help in the transformation of the Product Stewardship Ops Group. As a member of the Team, this position is responsible for supporting the operations across GP's Consumer Products and Packaging business units in developing, training, and maintaining Product Stewardship Programs in manufacturing facilities. The position will focus on operations including 27 pulp, paper, and recycle mills, 8 Dixie facilities, and 40 corrugated packaging operations and their associated warehouses. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: * Provide expertise and collaborate with facility staff on improving their Product Stewardship Program * Develop and deploy tools and other aids to provide facilities with information critical to meet internal and external compliance requirements, Customer Expectations and Third-Party Certifications * Through continuous improvement of our Fundamental Programs and GMPs, assist with risk mitigation to GP by managing operational hazards * Assess and identify gaps and assist facilities with developing plans to close those gaps * Assist facility Product Stewards with annual review of Product Stewardship Program * This includes planning and assisting in the self-assessment processes to assure the facilities understand and meet GP's requirements * Determine, promote and communicate Product Stewardship Best Practices across associated business units * Monitor continuous improvements efforts to keep consistent with requirements * Facilitate dissemination of information to facility Product Stewards through SharePoint * Assist the OPS Team with the development and deployment of tools to support the transformation of how our team interacts with the facilities * Develop and leverage tools to assist the facilities support and sustain the Product Stewardship Program and provide transparency to Product Stewardship Operations * Mentor the Facility Product Stewardship Team and support Operations across GP's business units * Actively support the Supplier Audit Program by coordinating with the business, capabilities, and Procurement to ensure audits, corrective actions and verifications are completed and communicated to all stakeholders in a timely manner. * Actively support business and facility product stewards to integrate product stewardship into their manufacturing locations to ensure product safety criteria and regulatory requirements are understood and incorporated at all stages What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental or an Applied Science focus * Seven (7) or more years of experience within a manufacturing/operations type role * Experience with implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) * Experience with risk assessment utilizing the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) methodology * Willing and able to travel up to 80% What Will Put You Ahead?
