We are currently seeking a talented Product Specialist. This role will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to the Customer Platform Lead.

The Product Specialist is responsible for success in the roll out of enterprise-level platforms to internal and external Agricultural partners. This role will enable successful deployment, training and documentation to drive user adoption and ensure proper, maximized use of platforms. The Product Specialist will collaborate to define and execute a customized partner success plan. This person will enable success of the platform by sharing deep subject matter expertise with IT and business partners, providing user insight and perspective and create opportunities for engagement throughout all parts of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive user adoption of the platform by creating communications, training and documentation to empower business partners.

  • Collaborate with development teams and will leverage your deep subject matter expertise to deliver customer centric solutions.

  • Using audio/video tools, comfortably present to large audiences both live and virtually and calmly and patiently answer questions about our platforms.

  • Passionately serve our partners to your utmost ability with a high level of professionalism.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you work cooperatively with many other people including development teams, business stakeholders and end users.

  • Prioritize your day to ensure results on both short-term immediate initiatives while advancing bigger picture, long term efforts.

  • Leverage your well-developed T-shaped skills, which balance depth of subject-matter expertise with a breath across many competencies, in order to effectively communicate both with IT geeks and science nerds.

  • Solve both technical and business-related problems.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline preferred

  • 3 years of experience working in an agile environment supporting the life cycle of software products preferred (development, testing, launch, training support), or related experience emphasizing at least one of the following areas: IT, IT support/training, user training, communication, etc.

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates with no Bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 7 years working in an agile environment supporting the life cycle of software products

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends

  • Ability to think strategically about technology and execute as necessary

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in the agriculture or biotech industry

  • Experience with agile methodology or SCRUM

  • Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as software design & development, user experience, customer support, finance or marketing

  • Product management or design experience with a focus on software products & technologies

  • Experience writing test scripts

The Senior Regional Product Specialist is responsible for leveraging advanced-level engineering knowledge and relationships to support regional accounts with significant impact on software revenue, as well as for helping customers to solve complex engineering problems using ANSYS software products. This role provides technical pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process. The job involves travelling to customers to deliver presentations and technical workshops within the region. The Senior Regional Product Specialist will be a member of a world class experts team that is helping digitizing systems in the ever more complex and connected world. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations * Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of a customers' current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows * Create and demonstrate system simulation and ROM's solutions to streamline customer workflows, in support of the sales process * Manage relationships with selected partners/customers including technical training and applications support * Manage and disseminate knowledge and expertise within the company * Participate in internal corporate initiatives to further enhance the solution suites, presales/sales enablement and professional growth * Provide new product proposals and specific requirements to the product management team MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS An ideal candidate should fulfill key requirements as given below: * Master's degree in engineering or physics * A minimum of 6 years of experience in simulation and testing of complex systems * Knowledge of modeling languages: Modelica, VHDL-AMS * CAD tool experience for system model design and simulation desired: Simplorer, Dymola, Amesim * CFD simulation is a plus (e.g. Fluent) * Understanding of scripting/programming languages: python, C/C++ * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Self-driven and highly motivated team player * Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * PhD in engineering or physics preferred * Experience and knowledge in designing and simulating fluids systems is a plus * Desired personal attributes include: oEthical oIntegrity and professionalism in handling all business matters oResults-oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks oHigh credibility; polished professional presence oStrong commitment to teamwork and the success of others oExcellent relationship building skills and instincts regarding people oAbility to handle pressure oHigh level of energy and enthusiasm oOutstanding written and verbal communication skills oExcellent judgment and problem solving skills CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
