Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Product Specialist to join our team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville Area). We're looking for an individual to work with Content Managers to achieve company goals for service level/fill rate, inventory turn, and return rate. Responsible for data integrity in both the item and purchase order master databases. Ensures timely set-up of new products, manages maintenance of item master data and purchase orders, expedites purchase orders, and resolves discrepancies with suppliers. Serves as liaison between the Product Group and multiple internal departments (e.g. Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Accounting), as well as stakeholders across multiple ICG business units (e.g. IPS, LSI), and suppliers. Identifies opportunities to enhance service level and drive efficiencies in the ICG supply chain.

Experience with book knowledge (bookstore, book industry, etc.)
Experience taking lead to improve customer experience
Experience multitasking various priorities at once
Works closely with Product Group staff and suppliers to provide exceptional support.
Meets all deadlines associated with accurate item set-up, and ongoing maintenance.
Performs ongoing item maintenance including pricing, discounts (purchases discount and customer discount), availability, returnability, supplier data, purchase order acknowledgements, etc.
Supports Sales, Customer Care, and other ICG stakeholders by responding to assigned JIRA support tickets within established timelines (typically 24 hours).
Works with Accounts Payable to resolve accounting discrepancies with suppliers (e.g.: Inventory Control exceptions, margin exceptions, etc.).
Performs supplier account maintenance in PIMS (Publisher Information Management System)
Communicates effectively with all internal and external contacts in-person and via email, telephone, and through social media.
Works with Content Managers and suppliers to enforce Ingram business policies.
Collaborates with Content Managers on critical issues with suppliers.
Participates as a positive team player within the Ingram organization, provides support as a product expert and supplier contact.
