At Camping World , a Product Specialist works directly with the customers to determine specialized product needs and services and provides price estimates for designated installations prior to scheduling appointments. The Product Specialist is a member of the sales team and works collaboratively with the service team to ensure a high level of customer service satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Daily interaction with customers to promote specialized product needs and installations

  • Review each job for proper sizing, colors, placement, and prior to scheduling job for installation

  • Maintain and update prepayment logs and keep customers apprised of work progress

  • Schedule installation appointments with designated service staff members

  • Monitor daily parts traffic and receive parts for installations

  • Inspect vehicle to ensure proper parts are ordered

  • Provide excellent overall customer service

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

  • May cross train to perform other duties as necessary

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

  • At least one year of sales experience is preferred.

  • At least one year of previous RV or camping product is preferred but not required

  • Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed

  • Excellent organization and follow up skills are required

  • Knowledge of Service Department procedures and policies is preferred

  • A valid driver's license may be required

VIEW JOBS 3/31/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-06-29T00:00 Overview This position is NOT for someone looking for a 'Commercial Photography' position. The primary responsibility of this position is to visit local grocery retailers and scan assigned categories to identify missing images in our consumer goods product database and obtain photographs and attributes. Take thumbnail sized photos via tablet and measure and input product attributes into an excel database. Rename image files according to file structure standards and upload to the server by weekly deadline. Some positions will be either at the in-house corporate office or at one specified retail store. * Photograph, and upload all required products, using a cellphone or tablet * Perform quality control checks of all work prior to release * Maintain impeccable file management protocol (renaming files) * Meet Deadlines on client requests and Category Cycle * Represent Acosta in a professional manner while working independently at grocery retailers or at their corporate office * Additional responsibilities as assigned Responsibilities To daily visit local retailer's and go to assigned category (or categories) and scan all items against the master excel database to identify missing or out of date items to capture for planogram images that support Acosta Space Management Teams and/or Acosta Clients. Take required pictures against white backdrop on mobile set-up on shopping cart, measure and input items data into excel spreadsheet according to Acosta requirements, return items back to shelf. Go home (or office if working from retailer corp. office) and transfer images to your computer. Create folder names and rename images according to file naming structure. Edit images in Photoshop by removing background, adjusting light levels, applying alpha channel and saving as a Targa file to meet planogram specifications. Perform quality control check by ensuring that all images are named properly and that all sku's required data is complete. Rename data sheet according to guideline and post all images and data to FTP by close of business on Thursdays to meet weekly deadline. Complete special image requests as needed. Meeting the physical requirements. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Requirements: * High School Diploma/GED * Some experience may be substituted for some of the above education Work Experience Requirements: * 1-3 years related work experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements: * Excel and Microsoft Office required specifically for data input and file renaming. * Strong attention to detail and good file management skills. * Good communication skills a must with keeping contact with manager since this is a remote position. * Ability to introduce yourself to new store management when accessing a new retailer and develop a good rapport with store staff representing Acosta in a positive manner. * To work well independently with little supervision and resolve minor issues on own but can also identify when to reach out for direction as needed. * Merchandising and/or retail experience helpful with understanding of consumer goods terminology.
