Product Security Partner (D/F/M)

As a Product Security Partner Real Estate and Emerging Verticals (RE&EV) at Adevinta, you will help ensure the security of our applications and collaborating with product and engineering teams to implement security measures.

Reporting to the Product Security Partner Manager, you will enable product security initiatives, providing guidance, supporting vulnerability remediation efforts, engaging with customers for compliance questionnaires, and serving as a facilitator during security incidents for your assigned product team.

The role is open in all our Technical Hubs: Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Berlin (plus Milan).

What you'll do:

• Enabling Product Security Initiatives: Collaborate with product teams to drive the implementation of product security initiatives and ensure that security is integrated into product development.

• Security Guidance: Provide guidance and conduct security assessments of products to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

• Support on Vulnerability Remediation: Work with product and engineering teams to support the prioritization and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

• Fulfil Compliance Questionnaires: Help respond to compliance customer questionnaires related to security by collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as legal, compliance, and sales teams.

• Facilitator in Case of a Security Incident for Product Team: Act as a primary contact and facilitator during security incidents affecting the assigned product team by ensuring communication among relevant stakeholders.

Who you are:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in product security, application security, or a similar role within the technology industry.

• Understanding of secure coding practices, application security principles, and secure software development methodologies.

• Familiarity with industry security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
