What would you do as our Product Security Engineer

We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to help ensure our range of software and hardware products continue to meet the latest security requirements. In this exciting role you will Support the corporate-wide mission to drive security by design principles into our product development and deployment to help deliver more secure solutions, ensuring the R&D team are aligned with ASSA ABLOY group best practices on security.

You would also:

• Strategy: Contribute to product strategy for meeting security and privacy standards.

• Vulnerability Mitigation: Identify and mitigate security risks in SSDLC, promoting DevSecOps practices.

• Risk Evaluation: Assess product security risks, deployment strategies, and guide incident response.

• Team Empowerment: Train and support development teams in implementing security measures.

• Application Security: Conduct reviews, offer best practices, and troubleshoot security issues.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has Security Engineering experience within software product development ideally with a degree in Computer Science or similar field

• Has versatile environment experience: proficiency across on-premise, SaaS, Azure, with knowledge in access/network security; preferably in IoT and other Cloud environments.

• Is familiar with various security frameworks.

• Has OS and Platform Knowledge: proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, with experience across APIs, web, and mobile platforms.

• Is familiar with security libraries, controls, .Net/.Net Core applications, authentication, authorization, cryptography, vulnerabilities, and remediation techniques.
