As a Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving Cisco Meraki revenue in your territory. Through prospecting, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with Cisco account teams and partners, you will drive deals through close delivering on and exceeding your quarterly quota. Your success will be dependent not only on your ability to sell, but also on the relationships you develop with all involved in the business. This is a high-energy position requiring an individual to be deeply motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity.

What you will do:

  • Drive sales cycle to close through Cisco account teams while establishing relationships and credibility

  • Work existing pipeline and identify net new opportunities

  • Maintain accuracy in Salesforce record management and quarterly forecasting

  • Train and develop existing partner relationships

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment to team with Cisco Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners to drive revenue and contribute to aggressive YoY growth rates

Who you are:

  • Consistent track record of proven success

  • Large end-customer selling and complex deal negotiation experience required

  • 5+ years technology sales experience with at least 3 years demonstrated success in a field sales capacity

  • Exceptional relationship building skills and proven decision making ability

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Must show up every single day with willingness to learn, a real passion for customer delight, and a desire to have an absolute blast while improving the lives of others

The Senior Product Sales Specialist's goal is to ensure the profitability and continued growth of a specific set of products for the organization. As an expert in specific product line (s), the Senior Product Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving a direct sales quota in that product line, as well as supporting overall product-line success, all within an overlay structure RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business for an assigned geographic area or set of accounts to achieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives * Partners with Strategic Account Managers, Enterprise (Key)Account Managers and Account Managers to collaboratively develop and pro-actively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall account strategy * Effectively lead all stages of the sales process from developing territory/account plans and building pipeline to closing * Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team with respect to updates on product capabilities, success stories and winning strategies * Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization's products and services * Creates and conducts advanced product sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified customer needs. Identifies ANSYS advantages and positions ANSYS's products/services as superior to competitive offerings * Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations and value propositions for current and prospective customers * Creates and maintains account plans for existing and new customers in collaboration with Account Managers * Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting and technical services groups * Participates in industry shows and conventions; leads training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities * Develops relationships with customers with the intent of securing, extending and elevating the ANSYS presence within the account * Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering from an accredited institution is required * Minimum 5 years of sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technology applications with a proven track record of success * Minimum 2 years of experience in metal Additive Manufacturing field * Demonstrated proficiency of engineering analysis and technology * Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently * Minimum travel of 50%, with the ability to travel regularly within NA, Brazil and Mexico PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Degree in Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering preferred * Experience with Additive Manufacturing simulation or other AM software preferred * Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers * Ability to network using direct (face to face) or indirect (email, phone, social media) technology CULTURE AND VALUES: Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
