Product Sales Manager, Rolls

In this role as a Product Sales Manager servicing the west territory, you will play a critical role in working directly with our customers to ensure the sales and servicing of paper machine rolls. Your industry knowledge and expertise will be put to good use to ensure that services, audits, sales and Customer Agreements are carried out to a high level of performance and to the customers satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Your focus will be on roll services such as rebuilds, covers and new rolls while being responsible for selling a wide portfolio of Valmet roll services, rebuilds, and new. You will establish professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel such as Purchasing, Operations, Quality Assurance, Mill Management, etc.

You will be responsible for selling roll repairs, rebuilds, and services. You will help the customer identify their potential areas of improvement as it relates to these products in their production processes. In this role, you will roll your sleeves up and perform in mill services including paper machine audits, nip impressions, parts inventories other evaluations at assigned accounts.

The successful candidate will secure opportunities to quote on prospective agreements and obtain orders from existing and potential customers. You will participate in as well as lead equipment audits, on site services, data collection, inventory audits or other support for customers with respect to paper machine roll services or in support of specific customer contracts and agreements. You will help provide a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts including competitor analysis.

Expectations

This opportunity could be right for you if you have a Bachelors Degree (BA, BS) from four-year college or university in Paper Science, Engineering or a related degree; minimum of 5 years related experience preferably in the paper industry.

While formal educational would be preferred, we are willing to explore this opportunity with industry veterans that have extensive hands-on experience as it can be equivalent to schooling.

As you'll be working closely with our customers within a region, you'll spend a large portion of your time traveling. Authorization to work in the United States and travel to Canada and throughout North America.
