Job Description

As a Product Safety Engineer, you will be integral to our Sustaining teams by aiding in IEC -1 (Product Safety) and IEC -1-2 (EMC) testing, protocol development, and report writing. You will assist in updating Electrical lab equipment qualifications, test methods, test method validations, protocols, and reports. Effective communication with stakeholders and leveraging internal/external partnerships to meet project objectives are key aspects of this role. You will work cooperatively with cross-functional teams including Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing to ensure project success. Providing work direction to Technicians, Interns, and Suppliers as needed and selecting components, tools, and equipment are also part of your duties. Ensuring a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all documented quality processes and procedures is fundamental.

This position is a true LIAISON position, interfacing with numerous teams within the United States, as well as internationally.
