Job Title: Product Safety Engineer
Job Description
As a Product Safety Engineer, you will support the Sustaining teams in IEC-1 (Product Safety) and IEC-1-2 (EMC) testing, including protocol development and report writing. Your role includes updating schematics, layouts, BOMs, and other design outputs using Altium Designer, as well as assisting with Electrical lab equipment qualifications, test methods, validations, protocols, and reports. You will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, software systems, and networks. Effective communication with stakeholders and collaboration with Cross Functional teams such as Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing are essential to ensure project success. You will also provide work direction to Technicians, Interns, and Suppliers as needed, and select components, tools, equipment, and best practices. A strong commitment to patient safety and product quality is imperative in all actions.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Maple Grove, Minnesota and some days remote.

Engage with multiple teams and stakeholders in a dynamic, cooperative work environment. Lead and guide Technicians, Interns, and Suppliers while maintaining a strict focus on patient safety and product quality.
