Product Reliability Engineer

We're looking for people who are passionate about reliability and want to be part of a team revolutionizing reliability testing.

As a Product Reliability Engineer in Micron's Global Quality team, you will collaborate with technology development teams to predict product failure modes. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with product engineers to develop fault isolation strategies and create new assessment methods.

You will orchestrate data feeds from many sources, mash them together, engineer new predictive models to guarantee product reliability with best-in-class testing strategy. Qualified applicants will be well seasoned in reliability characterization and data analytics.

We're looking for applicants who have:

  • Passion in memory failure modes, characterization and modeling

  • Solid knowledge in device physics. Knowledge in CMOS/memory reliability physics is a plus

  • Experience with statistical analysis software. Familiar with reliability statistics is a strong plus

  • Experience with automate data analytics and scripting

  • Exposure in semiconductor ATE platform is a plus

  • Ability to drive projects independently. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills

Education Requirements:

A minimum of a B.S. degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field

ID: 129664 As a Process Quality and Reliability Assurance (DDQA) Engineer, your primarily responsibility will be driving Quality and Reliability related Initiatives during Node development in TD Phase. You will define, review and coordinate effective actions to focus on key technology challenges for DRAM Nodes that allow Micron to bring higher quality solutions to market sooner. Your inputs will be key to enable Shift Left and play a key role in enablement of 12-month cadence for TD/MFG. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Partner with TD (Technology Development) and Product Engineering on N+1 Node to establish QR List during Technology Development * Identification of critical NUDDs (New, Unique, Different, Difficult) Challenges by SMEs in TD, PE NE through HVM to meet Automotive DPM requirements * Partner with Customer Requirements teams to define and Test usage conditions, Temperature-CSPL Cpk's>1.67 and other Rel requirements, WLR to enable Automotive DPM's. * Partner with MFG PQA, QE teams on N Node to sustain and develop the Quality Initiatives * Identify gaps and initiatives to build Margins around structural, Electrical, Reliability performance * Identification of critical defect density metrics for meeting HVM ramp plans (rd*, cell scorecard) * Partner with Process and Design FMEA teams on Risk Identification and Mitigation. Successful Candidates must have: * At least 5 years of Fab/ PE related experience. * Good Understanding of the DRAM Process Traveler and/or DRAM Product * Good Understanding of ESPEC, Probe, repair Densities, Back End test flow and Param registers * Good Understanding of Device Physics, DRAM Reliability items for CMOS and Array * Strong organizational and facilitation skills with ability to clearly communicate complex topics. * Passion for improving product quality to increase customer satisfaction. * Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills * Strong organizational and facilitation skills with ability to clearly communicate complex topics.
