Lead lower level engineers in areas related to Products/QC engineering.

Conduct all necessary tasks required to the products and its testing for new products introduction

Including: component specification, quality control test parameters and liaison activities with YEC

design engineers. Create and adhere plan/schedule for projects involving individual themes.

Evaluate the current equipment used by production, test when necessary, suggest

Improvements and/or introduce new equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.

Perform activities related to the design, build, and implementation and troubleshooting of production

test equipment. Define, establish, and implement procedures related to processes in the engineering function and/or

production function. Prepare information for the development of division's operating and capital expense budget, both

short-term and long-term needs, and continually monitoring same.

Support and assist OPS Engineering activities as they relate to electrical systems or electrical

designs. Support and assist Repair Department activities as they relate to technical documents and test

equipment designs including product training.

Investigate with purchasing, and evaluate domestic procured parts and make recommendations,

when necessary to the supplier, which will enable usage of their parts.

Perform activities related to maintenance or establishment of electrical drawings and schematics including documentation control.

Provide support for customer problems by trouble-shooting and technical support for in-process manufacturing problems

Participate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion program, quality training, etc.

Perform other duties as required.

Quality Control Inspector Inspects assemblies, subassemblies, components and parts for conformance to specifications. We are looking for someone who demonstrates: * Intense collaboration * Passionate customer focus * Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution * Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement * Relentless drive to win Here is a glimpse of what you'll do: * Performs visual inspection of electronic card and sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship. * Utilizes gages, templates, microscopes and other manufacturing aids to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship. * Ensures that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected. * Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems. * Notifies the appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process yields fall below acceptable levels. * Provides timely feedback to manufacturing if non-conforming product is identified. * Accurately completes all administrative activities associated with quality inspection. * Performs process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards. * Assists with the disposition of all non-conforming materials/product. Communicates any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors and/or engineers. * Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery. Here is some of what you'll need (required): * 2 years of quality or related experience. * IPC certified * Demonstrates advanced functional skills, which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees. * Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvements * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
