Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

  • Experience with business development, project management, product insight, cross-functional collaboration, and business intelligence.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience operating within and leading cross-functional efforts (with Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Operations, etc.), including on sensitive and complex initiatives.

  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and adhere to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including an entrepreneurial and creative approach, attention to detail, and demonstrated collaboration instincts.

  • Excellent communication skills including articulating key business, financial and technical points with both partners and internal teams, at different levels of the organization.

  • Technical proficiency in the mobile apps ecosystem with fluency in common business models, platform policies, and the competitive landscape.

The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to make YouTube's products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube's products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

In this role, you will be a core member of the team responsible for supporting YouTube's engagement with partnerships, helping to shape business strategy and drive performance for a critical partner in YouTube's distribution ecosystem. You will utilize a thoughtful, strategic approach to how we partner with sensitive partners, and grow in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, and collaborative environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be a core member of the team driving YouTube's partnerships and alliances helping to shape our approach and prioritization to drive business impact.

  • Manage projects and tight timelines in coordination with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution.

  • Facilitate Product Area-specific priorities and product launches across different operating systems and platforms.

  • Drive decision making with the Product team on new integrations with products or features, problem-solving across legal, policy, business, and operations. Provide technical complexities to identify solutions and secure cross-functional buy-in.

  • Inform business strategy by monitoring industry news and trends to uncover actionable insights for YouTube's portfolio of apps and products. Develop and implement frameworks and data-driven methodologies to measure partnership success.
