Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), within the Office of Information Technology, seeks a Product Owner responsible for shaping and transforming the software products and services supporting our university. Our Product Owner is accountable for providing both technical and culture-building skills to enable EIS to enhance existing (and deploy new) technologies, processes, and capabilities with agility.
You will be part of a team maintaining, developing, communicating and implementing software and systems. Primary duties include building and maintaining client relationships as the primary customer contact for a category of enterprise software, executing on strategy for our products and services, vendor relationships - including monitoring the strategy and roadmaps vendors offer for software used at the university, project management, and, finally, a specialized focus on business process analysis. Many of these duties will be conducted collaboratively as a member of the Enterprise Information Systems team.
The Product Owner reports to the Associate Director of Product Management and Development and is a member of a small team of product owners, who divide ownership responsibility for the services EIS supports. The team's focus is on effectiveness of the products and services we offer in our rapidly changing environment.
