As a Product Owner Sr. within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

This position is part of the Digital Enterprise Identity department. As a Product Management Sr Manager, you will partner with enterprise technology services, user experience, security experts and technical counterparts to create end to end user authentication experiences that meet core objectives. In this role you will be responsible for defining the future authentication approaches of the employees and driving them to execution with technical partners. The position will leverage market research, benchmarking, and relevant technology trends to inform their decisioning. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Workforce Authentication Strategy and Product management workforce User Authentication capabilities and journeys, ensuring that PNC Bank delivers best-in-class authentication experiences to customers and employees in a reusable, scalable, and cost-effective way. This will include single sign on, federation, and related capabilities. And finally, you will also form business partnerships, where you will translate product vision into an executable roadmap, and lead product owners and agile teams in executing the roadmap to delivery.

Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking out experienced Product Managers who have the ability to lead and develop a team of digital professionals. Candidates should have excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as strong change management skills focusing on leading transformational change.

PNC Bank is on a journey to modernize workforce identity and we are looking for expertise in cloud identity solutions, such as EntraID, and all that is required to migrate to that platform.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience planning strategies in the cloud environment, specifically Azure/AWS
  • PING
  • Expert in process mapping, diagraming, and providing other technical documentation

Job Description

  • Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Responsible for ensuring the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value.

  • Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product based on business value.

  • Drives the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Leads grooming of the product backlog and ensures the backlog is correctly prioritized based on business value.

  • Responsible for ensuring the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), are focused on the right priorities during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions.

  • Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Team(s). Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to the stakeholders and clients.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
