Position Title: Product Owner- O365 Solutions

Position Overview :

The ECM Product Owner is responsible for product planning and technical execution throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Owner will solve business problems by analyzing business needs, understanding requirements, investigating potential solutions, and ensuring the successful launch of new products and features. The ideal individual candidate will be able to facilitate discussions, and take lead in the execution tasks that help the organization provide best in class technology solutions in support our business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Is a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the solutions and products offered through the Microsoft Office O365 Online Platform.

  • Manage backlogs for multiple products or an entire product category program

  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog for a product release, creating a release plan that is shared with the project team

  • Communicate and maintain the product vision with the other stakeholders involved in the process, such as Developers, Testers, UX/UI Designers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts

  • Effectively communicates with the Product Manager to translate requirements into documented features and stories (the backlog) for a product release

  • Manage the grooming process for a product release, including creation of user stories, UI prototypes, and sprint acceptance criteria

  • Provide final approvals on functional acceptance criteria and UI designs

  • Participate in product and project meetings, serving as the voice of the Product Manager

  • Communicates and tracks the business value of the features/deliverables to the team

  • Provides final acceptance of delivered solutions to ensure completed work is acceptable and fit for the business

  • Work cross-functionally and with other product teams to ensure product decisions are in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy

  • Oversee the Hypercare/maintenance phase of a project and provide ultimate confirmation that the product is ready for standard support, providing training related production support during this phase

  • Leads in producing end user training materials and marketing communications regarding product

  • Serve as product spokesperson at meetings and event involving internal company stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or business related field preferred

  • Brings proven expertise of managing O365 SharePoint Online platform

  • Enterprise product owner (or equivalent) experience

  • Experience in a technology-related product management or business role

  • Experience with MS Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), HP ALM, Aha!, ServiceNow, and portfolio and project management (PPM) tools a plus

  • Experience with agile and waterfall software development practices a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to recognize, assess, and mitigate risks to the committed deliverables and timelines

  • Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted at multiple audiences

  • Pragmatic Marketing, Product Owner or Scrum Master certification(s) strongly preferred

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

  • Willingness to travel approximately 0%-10%

  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time

  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
