The Nasdaq Data Platform product team is looking to bring on product leads who are passionate about data, analytics, and decision management to help take these applications to the next level. In this role you will work with both the product owner and the development teams to deliver best in class data and analytics solutions in AWS focused on data distribution and market place management.

As part of this role you will work along side other product delivery leads and development to define, build, and deliver the next generation of reporting and data distribution framework allowing our clients to more quickly and efficiently build, deploy, and deliver data to their clients. In addition, you will leverage the strategic partnership with AWS to identify ways to deliver purpose built solutions to market quicker and more efficiently.

1.Execute the Vision

  • Translate the product strategy into a roadmap, metrics, and desired functionality expressed as stories in the product backlog.

2.Translate Desires

  • Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team and manage customer expectations as you turn their pains and problems into actionable user stories in the backlog. Provide guidance of product functionality to development teams.

3.Prioritize Needs

  • Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements expressed as stories in the product backlog with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs.

4.Act as a Servant Leader

  • Actively manage business risks, issues, & impediments expressed by the delivery team. Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap.

5.Enhance Quality

  • Build quality into acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team. Track progress on release and completion. Integrate with the other business product lines and technology to align your product's strategy with the overall needs directed by the business line and technology executives.

6.Level of Complexity

  • Manage risks of judgment with a serious impact on the success of your product. Supports innovative strategic thinking by identifying and presenting industry trends and opportunities.
  • Education: Degree in Business/Finance, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

  • 0-3 years of experience working in an agile methodology and participating in roadmap planning, product vision, and prioritization in some capacity

  • Familiarity with cloud preferably AWS

  • Previous experience managing or developing data products is a plus

  • Engineering background a plus

The base pay range for this role is $66,000 - $136,400. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
