What's the opportunity?
We are building our next generation of the Axway AMPLIFY platform. We are looking for . You will rely on Product Owners embedded in relevant Product teams to coordinate consistent releases and maintain up-to-date prioritized product and release backlogs which aligns with the vision for the AMPLIFY platform.
What will I be doing
Develop and mentor the team of existing Product Owners to continuously refine a synchronized vision of the AMPLIFY platform for each product
Communicate, collaborate and negotiate with fellow leaders and stakeholders within Product Management, UX and R&D.
Work with the Product Management team and Product Owners to translate our company and solution strategy into a prioritized roadmap, gaining buy-in from internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, support, R&D) and from customers.
Work with engineering management to continuously improve our Agile implementation so that sprint commitments are consistently met and product value is delivered.
Balance inward-facing and outward-facing product needs, as well as tactical versus strategic work priorities coming from various key stakeholders.
Help grow our Product Owners to understand our customers through research and regular interactions with them so that they can effectively communicate customer challenges and goals to the development teams.
Play a key role in the cultural transformation Axway is undergoing as we journey to the Cloud, embracing DevOps and Lean principles. Help bring customer value to table in every discussion.
Drive outcomes by defining and assessing objectives and key results for the Product Owners.
Look for either "incremental" improvement over time or "breakthrough" improvement to improve our people, product(s) or process.
What skills will I need?
Proven experience in building highly efficient and effective teams by hiring, coaching and mentoring direct reports
Ideally, you've built a SaaS offering in your previous roles. You will have experience of continuous deployment and enjoyed the satisfaction of your work being in the hands of end users quickly.
Proven design experience. The UX of our products are key to success.
Ability to turn the complex into the simple. You must be able to understand the problems of highly technical customers and to verify that the Product Owners are interpreting correctly
Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to nurture and lead a high performing team leveraging individual styles and preferences.
Experience of leading through period of ambiguity, whilst being able to make informed and balanced decisions.
The ability set a compelling vision and able to adapt your communication style for your audience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (excellent working knowledge of English is essential).
Ability to work well in a multi-cultural, cross-functional, geographically-distributed environment.
You have a passion for learning and constantly seek to improve your knowledge and skill set.
5+ years of progressive product leadership with a reputation of delighting customers, meeting tight deadlines, and fostering collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders.
Must have a relevant University Degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor degree or comparable academic training in User-Centered Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems.
Master of Science or comparable post-graduate academic training, a plus.

Background with direct responsibility as a user experience designer, business analyst, presales consultant, or technical support engineer.
Experience with cloud services - AWS and Azure, Container Orchestration, CI/CD & DevOps
