Responsibilities
Objectives of this role
A key focus of this role will the the develop and qualification of devices and hardware in support of our business goals
Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs-buy perspective
Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
Manage product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they're met
Develop, implement, and maintain product roadamp
Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
Responsibilities
Drive the execution of key processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, functional requirements
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Idemia across primary market segments
Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications
Experience in a dynamic product management/ownership role
Specific experince in the product life cycles of internally and externally developed hardware solutions
Proven success in overseeing key elements of the product development lifecycle
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
US citizenship (dual citizenship not allowed)
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
Degree in product design or engineering are desirable
Product ownership/management experience the areas of B2B or B2G software products
