Product Owner - Customer Data Platform

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our Customer Data Platform and ensuring master data availability through Material and Customer Broker Products. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for shaping user stories, prioritizing the team backlog, and ensuring that the team's efforts align with the overall product strategy.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with product management, the agile team, and shared services to deliver product features and functionality that exceed customer needs and align with business goals.

• Work closely with product management to leverage customer feedback, research, market analysis, and data insights to validate and refine the product/service roadmap.

• Participate in program increment (PI) planning, contributing to defining objectives, negotiating with stakeholders, and communicating the team's plan.

• Identify, write, and prioritize user stories and bugs necessary for incremental value delivery to customers, covering new work, changes to existing work, and addressing production environment issues.

• Engage daily with cross-functional teams to collaboratively solve problems, provide feedback, and ensure the successful completion of work.

• Identify communication, training, metrics, and other needs to facilitate the implementation of solutions, collaborating with relevant teams to fulfill those requirements.

• Collaborate with marketing, web, business leads, customer care, IT, and finance to identify, design, deliver, and report on assigned services/products.

• Bring in a strategic understanding of event streams, customer data platforms, and APIs to guide and support the team in implementing robust and scalable solutions.

• Prepare and actively participate in PI planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring to the table:

• 2+ years of business or systems analysis experience required.

• 2+ years of product owner experience preferred.

• 1+ years of using lean and/or agile approaches to develop solutions preferred.

• Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is a plus.

• Technical understanding of event streams, customer data platforms, and APIs.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
