JOB TITLE: Product Manager II

PAY RANGE: $56,800 - $71,000

Position Summary:
Join Evergy's products and services team with a role that focuses on delivering Energy Efficiency Programs (products and services) that add value to energy users. This role is responsible for day to day management of an assigned program(s). Currently, the role will be focused on energy efficiency offerings for Evergy's residential customers.
Vendor and subcontractor management to drive the contracted objectives, including overall customer experience and financial results desired for individual programs - while managing to the contracted budget.
Works closely with internal departments to develop and prepare resource planning and regulatory reports.
Is a key resource in the development of Evergy's demand side program planning process and integrated resource planning process, and conducts cost benefit analysis of energy efficiency programs.
Responsible for enhancement of existing program(s) to improve adoption, cost effectiveness and customer experience.
Managing program budget's' and savings to perform at optimal cost effectiveness.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.
Product Mgr II:
o Minimum of three (3) years of related product sales, brand marketing and new product development and management experience, or equivalent.
o Master's Degree a plus
Experience in marketing strategy, ROI, vendor and partner management, and budget responsibility highly desirable.
Experience leading and managing cross functional teams.
Track record of creative thinking and problem solving, as well as an ability to deliver successful, innovative programs to market.
Excellent leadership and people management skills honed through experience of managing Program(s) (products and services).
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize multiple data sources to gain insights and develop action plans, as well as an ability to execute against plans with excellence.
Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, both with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
Understanding of electric utility operations and pricing/rates is a plus.
Demonstrable skills in leading people and projects while coordinating activities through a diverse group of people.
Level-headed problem solver with professional and service-oriented attitude and a strong orientation toward delivering superior results.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, vendors, regulatory stakeholders and customers.
